How we work

Corrections Policy

Our responsibility is to the accuracy of the public record, not to protect any particular political narrative.

Readers, contributors, and individuals mentioned in our coverage are encouraged to bring potential errors to our attention. Our editors review correction requests and determine whether clarification, correction, or additional reporting is warranted.

How to report an error

Email editor@ivn.us with a link to the article, the passage in question, and what you believe is wrong, with a source where you have one. Requests are typically reviewed within 24 to 48 hours.

How we correct

When we correct a material error, we append and date the correction rather than quietly changing the piece. We distinguish established facts from allegations, interpretations, predictions, and opinions, and we do not knowingly publish false or misleading information.

Republished copies

Partners who republish IVN articles agree to update their copy when we correct it, and to remove it promptly if we ask. The terms are on our Syndication page.
